Southern Advanced plants (SAP) has been around for 20 years now. The nursery, situated on 92 acres (38 hectares) was established at Nepean Highway, Dromana in September 1989. It originally started as Instant Gardens Nursery and was a division of Gardenworld in Springvale Rd Keysborough at that time.

 

This peninsula site was selected because of its mild climate, with mild winters, little or no frost and mild summers. And because we are in this location, our plants benefit from the cooling influence of the sea

SAP is one of the largest wholesale production nurseries in the state. We grow quality trees, shrubs and grasses in 140mm, 180mm and 200mm pots with a strong emphasis on Native Australian plants and Drought Tolerant Hardy plants.
